This moderately challenging hike leads participants into the southern portion of the Bear Creek Unit south of Cowboy Camp. This trail and access is less popular than Cowboy Camp and Judge Davis but connects with the trails from these trailheads.

Participants should bring snacks, lunch, and water. Hiking boots or sturdy, close-toed shoes are required. Dress for variable weather.

High Bridge Trailhead is located about 4.5 miles south of CA-20 on CA-16.
