Blue Oaks on the Berryessa Peak Trail - Geoff Benn

Our July Nature and You Speaker is Tuleyome Education Associate Dr. Geoff Benn, who will be discussing the oaks of California, including why we have so many different species of oaks and how oaks survive and thrive in our challenging climate.

 

Dr. Benn received his Ph.D. in Plant Biology from UC Davis and has taught biology at UC Davis and American River College. He is a Certified California Naturalist and has been on Tuleyome's staff since 2023.
