During this event, participants will have the opportunity to view the moon, stars and other objects through telescopes. Experts will be on hand to answer questions.
The event will be held at El Rio Villas, just east of I-505. Yolo County Housing is inviting people to join the residents on the soccer field. Despite the proximity to Winters and I-505, the soccer field offers an unobstructed view of the sky. During previous events, participants have been able to view the moon, distant galaxies, Saturn and Jupiter, the moons of each, and the Milky Way.
Note: All participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Tuleyome’s waiver of liability which can be seen and downloaded HERE. All participants also understand that photographs will be taken at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must tell the photographer and avoid the cameras’ line of sight.
A $5 donation to Tuleyome is requested, but is not required to participate in this event.
