Oat Hill Mine Trail Hike

This hike, in partnership with Land Trust of Napa County, takes hikers along an old stage road between Calistoga and Aetna Springs Road. This event will end at the homestead of Karl Gustov Holm, who build a cabin on his property in 1893. The trail is rough and rocky and can be quite challenging but the views of Napa Valley are worth the effort.

Difficulty: Moderate-Difficult

Length: 10 miles round trip to Holms Place

Terrain/Exposure: Rough and rocky in many places, passing through Oaks, Douglas Fir, Gray Pine and Cypress forests, chaparral, and grasslands.
