Annie’s Trail Restoration (Cold Canyon)

Thanks to the University of California Natural Reserve System as well as help from volunteers, Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve has re-opened after last year’s Wragg Fire. There have been many hours put in by many people, the NRS and Tuleyome thank you for all of your hard work!

With all of the attention being focused on getting the area ready to be used again, our beloved Annie’s Trail has been slightly overlooked. It has become somewhat overgrown and difficult to use. Tuleyome is hosting a work party to clear this trail as well as put in mile markers to make the trail more user-friendly. Because we will be working after a moderate/difficult hike to the trail, this work party is for physically fit individuals!

We will meet at the parking area at 6 am and will work until noon – or it gets too hot for safety. Please be sure to bring water, snacks/lunch and work gloves.

Contact Nate Lillge at nlillge@tuleyome.org with any questions.
