Trail Restoration at Stebbins Cold Canyon

Tuleyome is continuing to assist with the restoration efforts at Stebbins Cold Canyon. Our work has helped re-open this favorite hiking area but trail work is always needed. Due to the high use and steep trails, erosion is a constant concern. We will be continuing our work to slow down erosion along the Blue Ridge Trail. This may include building stone stairs, adding rocks at the edge of the trail, or adding a collection pit to decrease the amount of water flowing downhill.

If you have questions, contact Nate Lillge at nlillge@tuleyome.org.

Note: All participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Tuleyome’s waiver of liability which can be seen and downloaded HERE. All participants also understand that photographs will be taken at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must tell the photographer and avoid the cameras’ line of sight.

A $5 donation to Tuleyome is requested, but is not required to participate in this event.
