Stars and S’mores – CANCELED

Tuleyome is hosting an weekend astronomy event at EcoCamp Berryessa on the north shore of Lake Berryessa. Come spend the weekend with us and Dr. Dan Phillips viewing and learning about our solar system and beyond. Telescopes will be available to get an up-close (relatively) view of the moon, stars, planets, nebula, and more. Participants are welcome to get to EcoCamp Berryessa as early as 12:00 pm (noon) on Friday, May 4 to enjoy the lake or hike around EcoCamp Berryessa.
Tuleyome will provide dinner on Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th; and we’ll also be providing breakfast and lunch on Saturday the 5th, and breakfast on Sunday the 6th. We suggest that you bring your own snacks and any additional meals you’ll need.

The 64-bed camp, owned and operated by Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, is located on the northern shoreline of Lake Berryessa amid chaparral and blue oak woodlands. It offers 8 canvas-houses (with electricity), a large facility with composting toilets and showers, 2 covered picnic areas, stone amphitheater, beach, and boat/kayak launch. (Many of the accommodations are ADA accessible.) If you would prefer to bring your own tent, you may do that as well.

All campers will need to supply their own sleeping bags and pillows. The canvas houses will accommodate 8 people each (and are available on a first-come first-served basis). Each bed in the houses comes with a thick firm mattress.

Space is limited. There is a $50 charge per person to reserve your spot. To register, use this Eventbrite link. (The registration fee is required even if you choose to bring your own tent.)

Note: All participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Tuleyome’s waiver of liability which can be seen and downloaded HERE. All participants also understand that photographs will be taken at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must tell the photographer and avoid the camera’s line of sight.
