The City of Woodland’s new Regional Park is a currently undergoing a facelift – permanent and temporary wetlands are being constructed and hiking trails are being planned. Tuleyome will be offering many events at this park to showcase the beauty of the area.
The first event is a star gazing event on October 26 at 5:30 pm. Dr Dan Phillips will provide the telescopes and expertise for this event. We will be able to view the moon and many stars, planets, and galaxies. This is a great experience for kids and adults! After looking through a telescope, many adults have been heard exclaiming: “WOW! Saturn really does have rings!”
