Smittle Creek Hike

The trails in and around the Smittle Creek Day Use Area on the west side of Lake Berryessa offer beautiful views of the lake and access to quiet coves. This hike, led by Tuleyome’s on-staff Certified California Naturalist Nate Lillge, will follow the trails over the gentle rises and through the oaks that line the lake. This is a nice hike for young hikers and those that are new to hiking. Sightings of Osprey and Bald Eagles are not rare!

No dogs; rain cancels. More information about the trail can be found here.

Difficulty: Easy

Length: 5.2 – 6 miles (round-trip)

Terrain: Oak woodland
