Navigation for Ground Travel

This event is designed to help increase one’s safety while out in the wilderness. Participants will learn how to determine their location using landmarks, a compass, and map as well as how to plan and select a route of travel suited to their survival situation.

This event is family friendly but participants will be required to understand and use compasses and maps as well as be comfortable “bushwhacking” through tall grass and uneven ground.

If you have questions, contact Nate Lillge at nlillge@tuleyome.org.

Note: All participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of Tuleyome’s waiver of liability which can be seen and downloaded HERE. All participants also understand that photographs will be taken at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, you must tell the photographer and avoid the cameras’ line of sight.

A $5 donation to Tuleyome is requested, but is not required to participate in this event.
