This 5-mile (round trip) hike goes through oak woodlands into the hills surrounding Cache Creek to Frog Pond. The pond itself is ringed by chaparral and is a great place to see large frogs as well as signs of raccoons, ducks, geese, coyote and even bear!
Please at the lower site of Cache Creek Regional Park. Bring snacks, lunch, and plenty of water. Dress for the weather (sun protection) and wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots.
