Nature & You Lecture: Cache Creek Watershed and Conservancy

Cache Creek, together with Putah Creek, are the two creeks in Yolo County.  The Cache Creek watershed extends all the way to Clear Lake, the Indian Valley Reservoir, and large portions of the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument.  The Cache Creek Conservancy is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1996 and dedicated to creek restoration, preservation, and education.  Nancy Ullrey, the CCC Executive Director will talk about the creek, its watershed, its history, where does it come from, where does it go, gravel mining, and recreation as well as what the Conservancy is doing.
